WAVES Summit is currently underway in Mumbai and the second day unfolded with multiple events and sessions. On the second day too, Allu Arjun has become a trending topic. During a conversation on the second day, Vijay Deverakonda opened up about a biggest multistarrer of Indian cinema.
Speaking at the ‘Cinema: The Star Power’ panel, Vijay opened up that Shah Rukh Khan and Allu Arjun must come together for a multistarrer. “Individually, the films of SRK and Allu Arjun made 1000 Cr rupees at the box office. Imagine both the stars joining forces for a film?” asked Vijay.
Sharing more insights, Vijay said that the combinations will work big time at the box office and hoped that a movie, featuring a star from North India and a star from South India should take a shape. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karan Johar were also a part of the panel who echoed the opinion of Vijay.
Interestingly, if such a project happens for real, it will definitely be a game-changing project in Indian cinema. The budget will touch the sky and the scale on which the film would be made will see no boundaries. However, all it makes a difference is the story and the creator behind the lens.
At the moment, Atlee is working with Allu Arjun for a futuristic project which involves a lot of VFX. He last directed Shah Rukh Khan in Jawaan which has become a big blockbuster in the actor’s career. Atlee can really pull this massive project, provided he is backed with the right story.
With the pan-Indian wave going very strong, it is the matter of time that decides the fate of such projects.
