NTR’s War 2 which was supposed to elevate his career to next level has resulted in a lot of criticism towards the actor. The film also ended the hit streak of NTR after 11 years. In the last one decade, almost every film that NTR did either became a hit or a blockbuster. War 2 not only failed at the box office but is going to end as a big disaster.

Back in beginning of the last decade, NTR was happy with the success of Brindavanam in 2010. But, the back to back failures like Shakthi, Oosaravelli, Dhammu, Badshah, Ramayya Vasthavayya and Rabhasa impacted the actor’s career. With the 2016 release Temper, NTR is back to form. There was no looking back for him after the film’s release.

In 2016, NTR scored two hits in the form of Nannaku Prematho as well as Janatha Garage. In 2017 and 2018, he had Jai Lava Kusa and Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava which improved his market. In 2022, it is the film RRR that made him a star at the International level, with new markets opening way for him. Last year, with Devara Part 1, NTR not only tasted a commercial success but also ditched the infamous Rajamouli myth that actors who have immediate releases after working with SSR will taste a flop. But, Devara proved it wrong.

When NTR and his fans are confident that War 2 will be a gamechanger, the film ruined all the expectations by becoming a big flop. Up next, NTR has Prashanth Neel’s Dragon in the making already. After this, NTR will do a film with Nelson, and another one with Trivikram Srinivas.
