Shine Tom Chacko is one of the brilliant actors in Malayalam cinema, but he is also a controversial A-list actor. In the recent past, he has been surrounded by multiple controversies and also underwent a personal tragedy of losing his father in a road accident. Earlier, his co-star Vincy Aloshious made some allegations and accusations against him, but she publicly stated that she respects him more now.
Earlier, Vincy accused Tom of using drugs on the sets and also called out his improper behavior towards her. Now, she stepped forward to interact with the press, along with him, and clarified that all is well between the two. When they met the press, ahead of their film Suthraprayam’s release on July 11th, the actress clarified her stand on Tom.
“Do you see any problems between us by looking at us?” Tom asked the media when they questioned him about the issues between them.
“Chacko was the first person or actor I had told that I wanted to become an artiste. His career has had a great influence on mine. When this opportunity came, I was happy that I would be sharing screen space with him,” she said, adding that her earlier allegations against him were not deliberate and she did not expect that Tom would do something like that.
Tom immediately said, I too did not expect it. If you were hurt, then I am sorry.” Vincy confessed that Tom looks all changed now, and she has great respect for him.
In the recent past, Tom was booked under section 238 (causing disappearance of evidence) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and sections 27 (drug consumption) and 29 (abetment and criminal conspiracy) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
On June 6, while on his way to Bengaluru with family, Shine Tom Chacko’s vehicle met with an accident in which his father died on the spot.
