As we all know, both Global Star Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela are animal lovers. Charan is a professional horse rider and owns as many as 25 horses. He also loves to go out for wild safari with his family. His wax statue at Madame Tussauds which also features his pet dog Rhyme shows his love for animals.
Charan and Upasana’s daughter Klin Kaara Konidela turns two today. On the special occasion, the little one gets a precious gift. A tigress in Hyderabad Zoo Park is named after the girl, and the same is revealed by Ram Charan.
Charan’s statement reads: “During our visit to Hyderabad Zoo last year, a beautiful baby tigress was born. We never imagined that a year later, the zoo would name her Klin Kaara — in honour of our daughter.
This birthday, KlinKaara got to meet her namesake for the first time, and it was magical to see the connection between the two. 🧡
While we personally believe that wildlife belongs in the wild, we hope to support efforts that ensure animals in captivity live with dignity, care, and love. Klin Kaara is growing up learning the value of empathy and respect—for all living beings. 🌍🧡#KlinKaara #TigerTales #CompassionForAll”
Upasana on her social media accounted posted a picture of her with daughter and a rare white cub, from the zoo. “A year ago, she was just a tiny cub. Today, she’s a playful tigress named KlinKaara — after our daughter. Thank you @hydzoo for this beautiful gesture. 🐯🧡 We believe wildlife belongs in the wild, but support efforts that honour animals with dignity and care,” she wrote.
Ram Charan will next be seen in a rustic sports drama Peddi which is progressing with its shoot in Hyderabad.
